Florida State University recognizes that international collaborations help build and expand the institution's global footprint and its capacity for teaching, research, and service. They also provide invaluable opportunities for faculty, researchers, and students. Informal links, academic networking by individuals, and official agreements and contracts with international partners all enhance FSU's global footprint.

Florida State University has international agreements with over 100 outstanding international universities in over 35 countries. The two most common international agreements at Florida State University are Cooperative Agreements and Reciprocal Student Exchange Agreements. Florida State University does not currently offer dual degree programs for international partners or faculty exchange programs. Academic Affairs/The Center for Global Engagement assists FSU faculty members develop international agreements.
