
Once the “International Agreement for a Reciprocal Student Exchange Program between an International University and The Florida State University” is signed by both universities the exchange of students can begin. A Faculty member at The Florida State University will take on and follow the “Responsibilities of the Academic Advisor for International Exchange ” and support is available from the International Center and the Global Pathways and Exchange Coordinator.

FSU’s International Center is ready to assist incoming students with The Florida State University admission and registration processes (including health insurance requirements), and with providing immigration documents with which to obtain a U.S. visa. Staff and Faculty Roles
Global Pathways and Exchange Coordinator: Supports FSU colleges, programs or faculty in developing international exchange agreements. Liason and support for outgoing and incoming exchange students and participating departments is also provided.
International Center Exchange Advisor: Supports inbound international exchange students and scholars with the documents necessary for their visa applications. Immigration advising, initial orientation and ongoing support at FSU is also provided.
FSU Academic Advisor for International Exchange : FSU Faculty members who direct incoming and outgoing students through their department's selection process and course approvals.
