About Us

The Florida State University’s Global Pathways Initiative seeks to prepare the university community for leadership in the global society of the twenty-first century.  The Florida State University seeks to foster the respectful dialogue of cultural differences necessary for an enlightened and educated citizenry.  The Florida State University is committed to cultural, ethnic, religious, gender, and racial diversity in the faculty, staff and student body.

Global Pathways' strategic initiatives are:

• Census and Networking:  Identify, assess, and link the multitude of international and intercultural activities, courses, and resources currently present in different sectors of the FSU campus. 
• Infrastructure Development:  Plan and develop additional infrastructure, administrative resources or personnel generated by the initiative, once demonstrated to be needed and cost-effective.
• Curriculum Development:  Encourage modifications of the current undergraduate and graduate curricula in order to enhance intercultural and global competence among our students. 
• Research and Service Initiatives:  Generate new initiatives that stem from increased interaction in the international and multicultural fields
